TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT

The museum is part of Florida International University, but does not directly offer academic credit. However, academic credit may be arranged for interns at the discretion of their college/university and The Wolfsonian–FIU. When possible, The Wolfsonian will work with your school and academic department to fulfill any requirements for credit.

All academic requirements and logistics must be discussed in advance to ensure:
a) all requirements can be met by the internship, and
b) the Intern Supervisor is made aware of any time factors and deadlines involved.

After reviewing the requirements of your college/university department, The Wolfsonian may deny the applicant’s request for academic credit if the museum department does not have adequate resources.
