Yew wood box with hinged lid; Celtic motif on exterior; applied brass cresting and hardware; decorative bosses, inset glass? cabochon mounts; curvilinear brass interlaced lines, ornate brass lock hardware (key missing) and side handles; interior has multiple compartment dividers of varying depths; lid interior is lined with dark blue grosgrain fabric; underside covered with velvet.
