Description:
1 postcard, untraveled, with the calendar date January 1, 1937 printed in bold and surrounded by red ink script championing the cause of the Republic. Pertenecer a él significa valor y sacrificio. [The year that begins today is going to be a hard year. We needed all our effort, the peak efficiency. We must go about winning the days one by one. One army, strong and united, with plenty of control, and the will to triumph. Belonging to it means value and sacrifice. All steadfast in discipline, dignity, and strength of the Army of Republic. All the effort of those who are not soldiers, hour after hour, with glad will, without fear nor fatigue, to the service of Spain and the war. This is the price we will have for victory. That no one vacillates. All together on the same honorable and tough path. Nobody can fail. In this year of 1937, that now begins, we march to the encounter of our victory].--recto. | Title from recto. | "Tarjeta postal"--verso. | Spanish.
