Description:
Oil on board painting using satire to condemn the Italian and German governments for their military support of Spain's civil war; Kruse portrays Adolph Hitler as a clown and Benito Mussolini as a devil; Spain, represented by the green bull, serves as the conduit between them; through a mouthpiece coming out of the bull's ears, Mussolini is talking to Hitler who is listening through a receiver attached to the bull's tail.
