Description:
Hand-carved and gilded walnut or mahogany fireplace surround composed of seven carved and gilded sunburst motif panels and seven rectangular beveled edge mirrors inset below mantel; pair of upright sections, each carved and gilded with a classically dressed female figure and pair of panels containing flowers and leaves; one side has sunflowers, oak leaves and acorns, ivy leaves and other side has holly berries with leaves and roses.
