Gouache, graphite and ink on paper design drawing of the southern perspective of the Viceroy's House in New Delhi, India; depicts the central dome of the house and the multiple towers and domes which flank it are set against a gray sky; the windows, arches, doors and colonnades which punctuate the imposing facade of the house are shown in detail in the rendering; the foreground is dominated by rows of trees which indicate the placement of the Viceregal forecourt and gardens.
