Porcelain Pilkington Lancastrian vase vividly hand painted to depict the burning of the Brussels International Exhibition of 1910; the design features images of tangled metal and figures emblematic of Britannia and a muse of the arts amid flames which rise up to form a circle containing an inscription describing the scene; the rim of the vase features a foliate motif.
