Ceramic vase with lid in the form of a slender upturned bell flower with four vertical indentations forming the sections of the flower; bottom end of flower terminates at a bulbous center section which is decorated with slightly raised mussel shells, and which is itself mounted onto a rounded base; ivory body is decorated with stylized branches painted in brown and turquoise and glazed; lid with similar brown and turquoise decorations. a: vase, b: lid
