Gouache, ink and graphite on paper design for an advertising card depicting a house divided into two sections with one side containing an illuminated window and a large light bulb at the corner and the other side illustrating a small burning fire in the house which is set next to a defoliated tree; the symbol of the Utrecht Industrial Fair ("U" surmounted with a winged helmet portrayed at bottom center.
