Architectural surroundings impact everyday life. What then is the role of the countless architectural projects that never materialize physically? This exhibit explores the role that unrealized architectural projects play in society: their influence on architectural theory and practice; their role in promoting architectural solutions to technological and social problems; and their potential to bear witness to the past and to point the way to the future. Together they reveal multiple visions of what could have been and what still might be.
