FIU Community

The Wolfsonian invites all members of the Florida International University (FIU) community to use and enjoy its resources. The Wolfsonian hosts FIU classes; encourages students to use its collection for research projects; provides internships; offers opportunities for faculty research and curriculum development; collaborates with faculty members on exhibitions, publications, and programs; presents targeted on-campus exhibitions; promotes intellectual exchange across disciplines; and extends free admission privileges to FIU students.

In 2009, The Wolfsonian received a three-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to strengthen its ties to FIU’s academic community. This grant has enabled the museum to dedicate additional resources to work with faculty and students and to initiate a number of programs designed to integrate its collection into course curricula.
