The Wolfsonian welcomes groups of visitors and extends its exhibition and educational resources to everyone. Groups can arrange for self-guided or guided tours. The museum is happy to work with your community organization/private group, K-12 school group, or higher education group to tailor a tour to your specific interests.

Community & Private Tours

Self-Guided

Duration: Unlimited for day of visit

Fee:  $5 admission per person, group must be 10 people or greater

Capacity:  Minimum 10 people, if guided by outside tour guide maximum of 25 people, if unguided then unlimited

Availability: Tours can only be scheduled during normal operating hours.

Guided

Duration: 30 to 60 minutes with guide.

Fee:

Capacity: 25 people maximum per tour guide

Availability: Tours can only be scheduled during normal operating hours.

Lunch requests: Self-Guided of Guided Groups wishing to dine on site may contact The Wolfsonian Café or call 305.535.1457. Boxed or plated lunches are available for purchase to groups making arrangements at least two weeks in advance of visit.

Visitors With Special Needs
The Wolfsonian–FIU is committed to making galleries and programs accessible to all visitors. The museum is wheelchair accessible, and wheelchairs are available at the museum's box office. Visitors with special needs, including American Sign Language interpretation, are encouraged to contact our Program Director at education@thewolf.fiu.edu [2] or 305.535.2684.

 

K-12 School Groups

Lunch Requests: The Wolfsonian does not have cafeteria facilities for K-12 school groups. Please plan to have lunch at school or nearby at Lummus Park or Southpointe Park before or after your visit to the museum.

Drop-off and Parking:  Buses must drop students off at the front entrance to The Wolfsonian on Washington Avenue. The museum is located on the northeast corner of Washington Avenue and 10th Street and can best be reached in the north-bound lane. Parking is not provided for buses; only for drop-off and pick-up of students.
