Description:
Molded metal bookend in the form of the Hoover Dam including an interior section which provides a perspective of the three sides of the Hoover Dam power plant and reservoir pool flanked by rock walls at either side; exterior sides depict a stylized male figure exerting his body to hold up a structure; the Hoover Dam borders Arizona and Nevada and was constructed by thousands of workers between 1931 and 1936.
