A circular bronze medal commemorating Rotterdam Maas River Tunnel; obverse depicts a seated Batavia surrounded by her personifications of industry: labor (at left, male standing with a hammer in his hand), transportation (at right, woman standing with a winged wheel and a branch with flower in hand), and commerce (at right, seated woman holding staff of Mercury in one hand and a ship for sea trade at her feet), the coat of arms of Rotterdam (?) and the motto "Perseverance, Courage, Trust;" reverse side depicts Nieuwe Maas ("New Meuse"), a river with a port and a new tunnel.
