In November 2002, Victory (Vicki) Gold Levi donated a superb collection of graphic arts materials documenting the U.S.-Cuba tourist trade from the 1920s to the 1950s. The collection includes more than four hundred rare, ephemeral pieces in a wide variety of formats, including guidebooks, advertisements, clippings, menus, cigar labels, fans, postcards, record jackets, popular periodicals and illustrated magazine covers, display cards, movie posters, sheet music, and more.
In December 2011, Ms. Levi donated another collection to The Wolfsonian-FIU: nearly 100 "Victory" campaign ephemera produced in the United States during the Second World War. The Victory Gold Levi Collection provides an excellent view of the American home front and includes "victory" envelopes, postcards, sheet music, and decorative pins designed to promote patriotism during the war years.
