Guided exhibition tours every Thursday and Friday at 6pm. Free gallery admission on Fridays from 6–9pm with the generous support of the Miami Herald. All programs take place at The Wolfsonian, unless otherwise noted.

FAMILY & EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP
Saturdays, March 1 and 8, 12–5pm
DESIGN DIMENSIONS

This three-part workshop encourages high school students to envision a better world and take responsibility for making it. Students work with local artists to explore the impact of propaganda and advertising. They’ll then create film, posters, broadsides, and billboard concepts. WEBWISE CONFERENCE
This conference explores technological and digital resources in libraries and museums and features keynote addresses from Jonathan Fanton, president of the MacArthur Foundation, and Jeffrey Schnapp, founding director of the Stanford Humanities Center. Cohosted by The Wolfsonian and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Florida Center for Library Automation, and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. The dramatic story of Grand Central Terminal began with a 1902 train accident that propelled construction, continued with design feats, and resulted in the greatest railway terminal in the world. Free.

Mary McLeod, professor of architecture at Columbia University, explores the relationship between Le Corbusier’s architecture and the emergence of the New Woman in France in the 1920s. Free to members and students; $10 all others.
